The Liuyang River (), also known as Liu River () or Liuwei River (), is a river in Hunan province, in south central China. It begins in Dawei Mountain, is 234 km long, and has a drainage basin of 4665 square kilometres. It is the largest river in Liuyang and one of the largest tributaries of the Xiang River. Liuyang River flows through Liuyang and Changsha County. Liuyang River's main tributaries include Daxi River () and Xiaoxi River (). ==Culture== A Chinese modern folk song, ''Liuyang River'', which was sung by Li Guyi, was called by the name of Liuyang River.
